Display and Design
The LG G Watch poses a 1.65-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 280 x 280 pixels and a pixel density of 240 ppi, which is a tad lower than the Samsung Gear Live which has been launched at the same time. However, the display in the G Watch is found to look better in both the modes i.e. dimmed and running. The always functional display actually never rests letting you have a glance at any new notification along with the time.
LG even gives you the opportunity to choose a strap which suits you the best by providing it in two very unique colors namely titan black and white gold. You can even go for straps of different uniquely blended colors by paying separately. The strap comes with a standard length of 22mm.
The IP67 certification gives the guarantee that the watch is capable of functioning continuously by withstanding dust and 1m deep water for a sufficient period of time.
Configuration
At the heart of the watch, there is a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which delivers ultra fast performance in combination with a 512MB RAM. Running on Android Wear, the LG G Watch is designed to give you the opportunity to access all the important stuff without taking out the main Android powered gadget all the time. It has an internal memory of 4GB which is sufficient for storing all the useful apps and files. You can link this smartwatch to any device powered by Android v4.3 or any higher version. Use the Ok Google voice command to get information about probably anything.
Battery and Connectivity
The LG G Watch has the fuel to last really long thanks to the presence of a 400mAh Li-Po battery. Apart from connecting it wirelessly to your Android based gadget using the Bluetooth v4.0 option, you have the USB port feature which will help you to connect it easily to any gadget which doesn’t support the Bluetooth option.
