Micromax thinks INDIANS are dumb. I saw an ad of micromax for some phone and it says "Now 2x FASTER with 8 GB ROM" nHow does internal storage boost the speed. Micromax sucks selling cheap phones for high cost in its Homeland.nnAlso correct the mistake in this phone specification. It is ROM and NOT RAM.
I always had a fascination for higher midrange smartphone. Recently I had a urgent need of a Dual SIM smartphone and I was on a tight budget so for the first time i went for a cheap smartphone and a first timer of Micromax. I came across this phone Canvas Fire A104. By the looks of it i was blown away, such a good looking phone at this price range went through the specs n voila this was the phone i wanted but there were no reviews on the net yet. So i took a gamble and bought the phone and to my surprise happy with it. It completely imitates to be a costlier smartphone. I wont go through the performance part cause everyone knows what Mediatek 6582 can do. It is all the same, the UI is smooth, Apps work well cause of that healthy 1GB ram. Im not much of a gamer so cant really comment on that but light to medium heavy games does work. The front firing dual speakers are really good. 5MP cam is ok, daylight photos are good, night photos are nothing to write about. Good for sharing on Facebook. Sim reception is good, call quality is good. Screen has no protection so better of using a screen guard. Screen quality isnt half bad, brightness output is very good, not the most pixel dense display but gets the job done, screen i felt was a bit cold for my taste but hey i love AMOLED displays so i cant really complain here TFT displays are colder than AMOLED ones. nTo conclude this review i would like to say its a gamble cause using a Micromax handset can be a double edge sword either you'll be happy with it or it will frustrate you so that you'll never buy a Micromax again. Thankfully my 1st experience with them is good. Thumbs up Micromax. I would given this a 4/5, but consider the price to feature and the looks i cant help myself but give it a star more.nHopefully this was helpful.Thnak You.
