Display, Processor and OS
The Micromax Funbook Duo P310 has been crafted with a typical 7-inch LCD capacitive multi-touch display providing a wider but comfortable visual experience with a resolution of 600 x 1,024 pixels and a pixel density of 160 ppi which is definitely on the lower side. The tablet runs Android v.1.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box thereby offering all the latest apps at your fingertips. The processor running the show is built on two cores and sprints a speed of 1GHz. It is assisted by a RAM of 512MB.
Camera and Storage
On the back side of the device, there is a 2MP digital camera so that you can capture all the essential photos and videos. It also has a VGA shooter on the front to support video calls. In order to account for the low RAM to some extent, Micromax has packed the Funbook Duo P310 with a nominal onboard storage capacity of 4GB. A microSD slot that can take in cards up to 32GB is extremely useful in storing important files, songs, videos and documents.
Battery and Connectivity
The dual SIM Micromax Funbook Duo P310 comes with connectivity options like GPRS with EDGE, USB port, Bluetooth v4.0, Mobile hotspot, Wi-Fi 802.11 and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging. The absence of 3G makes the device slow in terms of internet connectivity.
For ensuring a continuous power service for a long period of time, the tablet has been packed with a 2,800mAh Li-ion battery. According to the manufacturer, the tablet can deliver up to 4 hours of talktime and up to 120 hours of standby life in 2G network.
