GIGABYTE’s Stealth concept isn’t new; it first debuted in 2022 with Project Stealth, a reverse-connector motherboard design that quickly became popular among clean-build enthusiasts. The 2025 Stealth ICE refresh brings the same idea to a fully white aesthetic, aimed at creators and gamers who favour clutter-free, showcase-worthy builds.

The new Stealth ICE series includes

X870 and B850 AORUS Stealth ICE motherboards feature reverse connectors that route cables to the back of the board, drastically reducing visible wiring. Alongside there’s also the C500 Panoramic Stealth ICE case, offering a 270-degree glass view for those who want to highlight custom cooling loops, RGB lighting, or themed builds.

Meanwhile, the motherboards come with Compatibility with 20+ chassis models from brands like Cooler Master, InWin, LIAN LI, Thermaltake and more, all supporting the reverse-connector ecosystem.

Cable-free builds are no longer just a niche trend; they’ve become one of the most sought-after aesthetics in PC building. By putting ports at the back of the motherboard, GIGABYTE removes the most time-consuming part of assembling a PC: cable management. This should mean cleaner builds, easier airflow optimisation, faster assembly and maintenance and last but not least more space upfront for cooling setups and RGB personalisation.

For creators, streamers, and anyone showcasing their PC on camera, Stealth builds have become a go-to choice, and GIGABYTE’s expanded Stealth ICE ecosystem directly caters to that growing demand.

GIGABYTE partnering with chassis manufacturers signals how quickly reverse-connector designs are becoming mainstream. Instead of being locked into a single case, buyers now have a wide selection of compatible options, making Stealth ICE one of the most flexible ecosystems in this category.
