Realme has officially introduced realme UI 7.0, its latest software update based on Android 16. The new version brings changes in design, personalization, performance, and AI capabilities, marking one of the most significant updates to the realme UI so far. Realme says the goal of the new UI is to provide a faster, cleaner, and more efficient software experience across its devices.
Realme UI 7.0 debuts a new Light Glass Design, which uses glass-like textures to add more clarity and depth to system elements. The update includes redesigned Ice Cube Icons, a revised Misty Glass Control Center, and an improved Breathing Dock for better layout and readability. The new Flux Theme 2.0 adds support for large-text themes, panoramic Always-On Display, Live Photos, and video wallpapers with an AI-driven depth effect. Users can also customise fingerprint animations, desktop icons, widgets, and lockscreen styles.
AI features play a larger role in realme UI 7.0. The AI Notify Brief tool groups non-urgent notifications into morning and evening summaries, providing key updates at fixed times. For photography, AI Framing Master offers real-time suggestions to help users frame shots more accurately. The update also introduces iPhone and Apple Watch Connect, enabling calls, messages, and health data from Apple devices to sync with realme phones. In addition, AI Gaming Coach analyzes user habits to offer performance tips and gameplay optimisation.
At the system level, realme UI 7.0 includes several performance optimisations. The new Flux Engine is said to improve responsiveness by 15 percent, boost daily performance by 22 percent, and increase app scrolling smoothness by 29 percent. The Multi-task Sidebar now provides quicker access to apps without switching screens, while updated animations aim to make navigation more consistent across the interface.
The upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro will come pre-installed with realme UI 7.0. Other models, including the GT 7 Pro, will begin receiving the update starting in November.
