
Samsung has announced early deliveries for its latest lineup of foldables: the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8. This is for those who pre-booked the foldables after it launched in India on July 22nd. Samsung had also revealed that the new foldables crossed 271,000 pre-orders within just 72 hours of launch.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra starts at Rs 1,99,999 for the base variant, which comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It’s available in Graphite, Cream, Violet Shadow, and Green Shadow (online exclusive) colours. The Galaxy Z Fold8 is priced at Rs 1,79,999 for the same memory configuration. As for the Galaxy Z Flip8, this foldable has a starting price of Rs 1,24,999.
As part of the pre-order, Samsung offered upgrades worth Rs 10,000 on all three foldables or a Rs 9,000 UPI offer. It also offered EMI options up to 30 months with no down payment.
The new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is the most premium of the three, offering a 200MP main camera, a new 50MP ultra-wide lens, and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. The foldable also houses a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
The Galaxy Fold8 is the new addition to the lineup, offering a wide form factor with an aspect ratio of 4:3 when unfolded. It is also Samsung’s lightest Galaxy Z Fold yet, weighing just 201g. The Galaxy Z Fold8 comes with a 4,800mAh battery, a dual 50MP camera system, 3,000 nits peak brightness display, and features like Dual Recording and My FanCam.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 continues with the flip form factor, weighing 180g and measuring 6.1mm thin. It is also Samsung’s slimmest and lightest Flip yet. The Galaxy Z Flip8 has a 50MP camera, powered by Samsung’s ProVisual Engine, and comes with features such as Flex Mode, Super Steady with Horizon Lock, FlipShot, and Cover Screen Mirror.
