Wzatco, a well-known name in the projector market (at least in the budget segment), has expanded its lineup with the launch of the Yuva Bolt. The new model is being pitched as a smart projector with 11,000 lumens of brightness, aimed at elevating the big-screen viewing experience at home. The Wzatco Yuva Bolt has been launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 10,990 and is available via Amazon.in as well as the company’s official website. The projector is currently listed at a discounted price, down from what appears to be its MRP of Rs 29,990.
Wzatco specs at a glance
“Our goal with the Yuva Bolt was simple: to eliminate complexity and deliver a powerful, truly smart projector that anyone can use effortlessly. With industry-leading brightness, fully automatic adjustments, and next-generation connectivity like Wi-Fi 6, the Yuva Bolt is built to bring cinema-scale experiences into everyday homes without compromise,” said Komaldeep Sodhi, Founder and CEO of WZATCO, on the launch.
The 11,000-lumen brightness and fully automatic smart adjustments are among the key selling points of the Wzatco Yuva Bolt projector. On paper, the projector should get sufficiently bright and deliver crisp picture quality, particularly in dimly lit environments. It supports a projection size ranging from 60 inches up to 200 inches, paired with a claimed 7,000:1 contrast ratio and native 1080p resolution.
While the resolution and contrast ratio appear adequate for smaller screen sizes, their real-world performance, especially at the upper end of the 200-inch projection, will be clearer once we’ve spent time reviewing the device. Moving on, the automatic adjustments, like focus and keystone correction, on the Waztco Yuva Bolt are expected to ensure a sharp image on the projected screen with a properly aligned rectangular frame, without any hassle.
The Yuva Bolt boots Android 12 out of the box, ensuring that it can work as a standalone device capable of streaming videos. If you wish to connect a device, the projector sports an HDMI port with ARC support and a USB Type-A port. Furthermore, there is a dedicated port for Aux to connect headphones and other audio accessories. Wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, and Miracast.
Other features include a couple of built-in 3W speakers, 360-degree flexible projection, and a compact and portable form factor with just 1.4 kg of weight.
