Xiaomi has confirmed that its new TV FX Mini LED series will launch in India on June 4, 2026. The company is teasing “a new standard in display” with a full‑array QD‑Mini LED backlight and its in‑house Quantum MagiQ picture engine. In simple terms, the TV should be able to control brightness more precisely across the screen, helping deliver deeper blacks, brighter highlights and more vivid colours for movies, sports and games. The FX Mini LED TVs will also run Fire TV OS, giving users access to a wide range of streaming apps and Alexa voice control out of the box.
Xiaomi’s teaser confirms that Mini LED will be at the heart of the new series. By using thousands of smaller LEDs behind the panel, the TV can split the backlight into many local dimming zones instead of lighting up the whole screen uniformly. This allows dark scenes to look darker and bright elements like streetlights or explosions to stand out more clearly without as much bloom.

— Xiaomi India (@XiaomiIndia) May 27, 2026On top of this hardware, the Quantum MagiQ engine is pitched as handling contrast, colour and motion on a scene‑by‑scene basis, which should help with fast action sequences and upscaling lower‑quality content. Xiaomi has also revealed a quad‑speaker setup with full‑range drivers and dedicated tweeters, which should offer clearer dialogue and more presence compared to basic two‑speaker TV designs. Fire TV OS support means the usual Fire TV interface, recommendations and support for thousands of apps, along with Alexa for voice search and smart home control.
More details on screen sizes, pricing and availability will be announced at the June 4 launch, where Xiaomi is also expected to unveil its Xiaomi 17T smartphone lineup for the Indian market.
