Aditya Roy Kapoor came drunk on the sets to play the part convincingly but the shot had to be canceled as he would be completely out of sorts.
Before they started filming for the movie, Aditya and Shraddha did a workshop together to break the ice and get more comfortable with one another.
The film made Shraddha and Aditya Roy Kapoor famous and won them praise and also gave them their first 100 Crore Blockbuster.
This movie is a remake of the Hollywood movie "A Star is Born" (1937).
Both Imran Abbas Naqvi and Sushant Singh Rajput were offered the role of Rahul Jaykar, both had to decline, because both were under contract for two different film productions.
"Rahul: Suno... Arohi Stirke: Kya? Rahul: Kuch nai... bas yun hi."
"Arohi Stirke: Agar itna hi darr tha to itne paas kyu aaye tum? door hi rehna tha na. Rahul: Arey ye hi to baat hai. Jab tum nahi thi to mera dushman tab mai hi tha, iske pehle mai tumhara ban jau JUST GO AWAY."
