After giving the smash hit "Sthree" in 2018, Director Amar Kaushik returns again in 2022 with Bhediya which is a disruptively original horror comedy that takes the idea of human transformation into werewolf that Hollywood had built, giving it a zesty desi twist and flavor. If you have seen some Hollywood movies such as *TVD" Or "Teen Wolf", the movie's concept somewhere around has been taken from there. Storyline is very predictable that's a minus point but the delightful comedy by Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal covers for it. Varun Dhawan being a versatile actor nailed his character completely. Dialogues are fantastic and humor is very well placed and doesn't goes wrong anywhere. Bhediya is a great example of good horror-comedy. There are a lot of surprise elements in the movie which will make you stick to the edge of your seat throughout the movie. Shraddha kappor's cameo in 'Thumkeshwari' song is on another level. All the other songs are also great. It's definitely a must watch for all.

Alia Bhatt was first offered the role of Kriti Sanon's character but she declined due to date issues. This would've been the fifth movie Varun and Alia would've done together.
