It was nice to see the real-life couple Alia and Ranbir on the big screen together in the film Brahmastra. Their chemistry truly reflected in the film which was fun to watch. The premise of the film definitely had a lot of potential. The movie was capable of highlighting the mythological elements even more beautifully, in a manner that could have been more impactful. the special effects and visuals were fantastic although there could have been improvements in the storyline and plot development. the focus was somewhat shifted from the actual concept of the film to the romance part which turned the film into being more average rather than extraordinary. Mouni Roy did a fairly decent job of playing the villain. The loopholes in the storyline resulted in the film not being as engaging as it could have been. Overall, the film is decent and can be watched for its effects and the good music as well.

Logo of the film was launched on 4th March 2019 at the end of Kumbh Mela a grand fair celebrated in North India.The day also marked celebration of Maha Shivratri celebrated in honor of Lord Shiva.
The film is one of the most expensive movies of Bollywood and is said to have a budget of 410 Crores.
The film is first in the offering of intended trilogy.
