IMDbThe horrific crime of gang rape and its catastrophic effects on its victims and their families are explored in the gripping and moving drama MOM. After her daughter is viciously attacked by a group of spoiled young men and their servants, the mother, who is portrayed by the amazing Sridevi, vows to pursue justice for her. Sridevi has a standout performance as she conveys a mother's sorrow, rage, and resolve to bring her daughter's attackers to justice. Akshaye Khanna gives a strong performance as the detective who aids her in her inquiry, and the rest of the supporting cast is as impressive. The movie is well-directed, with stirring passages that show how terrible the crime was and how much of an emotional toll it had on everyone involved. The film's overall effect is enhanced by the excellent photography and music. In conclusion, MOM is a film that everyone who appreciates potent and socially conscious movie should see. It is a profoundly touching movie that poses significant issues with justice, victim blame, and the requirement for societal attitudes towards rape and sexual violence to change.

The show's theme music is from the Overture to the opera "Ruslan and Lyudmilla", which was written by the Russian composer Mikhail Glinka during the 1830s and '40s. Glinka is regarded as a founding father of Russian classical music and the Overture is still a staple in the repertoires of symphony orchestras around the world.
