Jio today announced new JioTV Premium subscription plans in India. The new JioTV Premium plans come offer access to up 14 OTT platforms including national, international and regional content. The subscription plans are available with monthly, quarterly and annual validity. Here’s a detailed look at the JioTV Premium plans.
JioTV Premium plans prices
There are three JioTV Premium plans available in India.
- The cheapest is priced at Rs 398 with a validity of 28 days.
- JioTV Premium quarterly plan is priced at Rs 1,198 and comes with a validity of 84 days.
- As for the annual JioTV Premium plan, this one costs Rs 4,498 and comes with a validity of 365 days.
JioTV Premium plan benefits
All three JioTV Premium plans come with the same benefits. This includes 2GB data per day, voice calls, SMS and free OTT subscription. The list of OTT apps include JioCinema Premium, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, Zee5, Amazon Prime Video (Mobile Edition), Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Docubay, SunNXT, Hoichoi, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, EpicOn, and Kanccha Lannka.
So instead of individually subscribing to multiple OTT apps, you can get the JioTV Premium plan and get to access to all the above mentioned OTT platforms. These OTT apps provide various content including sports, originals and TV shows.
Jio in its release also said that it is introducing a one-click call centre support for annual plan users making it a first for prepaid users. There’s EMI option on the annual JioTV Premium plan as well.
How to access JioTV Premium plan OTT content
Once you recharge any of the available JioTV Premium plans, you’ll have to sign-in to the JioTV app with the same Jio mobile number. Then select the JioTV Premium tab to start watching shows and movies from the various OTT apps. You won’t need a separate login or password.
JioCinema Premium subscription is available through the MyJio coupon section. You can redeem it on the JioCinema app. For Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar, you’ll have to access it through their respective apps.
