The Big Short Review

TVF Pitchers is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys smart humor, engaging characters, and a well-crafted storyline. The show centers around four friends who decide to quit their day jobs and follow their dream of starting a tech company. The characters are well-developed, with each one bringing their unique set of skills, flaws, and perspectives to the table. The show captures the struggles and triumphs of entrepreneurship, and the realistic portrayal of the Indian startup scene adds to the authenticity of the story. What sets TVF Pitchers apart is its impeccable screenplay and Arnuabh Kumar's inventive script. The humor is smart and relatable, and the show does an excellent job of balancing the comedic moments with the more serious themes of ambition, failure, and friendship. The acting is also top-notch, with each cast member delivering a nuanced and believable performance. Overall, TVF Pitchers is an outstanding achievement in Indian television and a must-watch for anyone who loves a good comedy-drama.

TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

After Christian Bale met with the real Dr. Michael Burry, he asked to have Burry's cargo shorts and T-shirt, which he then wore in the movie. Bale later said he hoped Burry would make it to the film's L.A. premiere, "because I really want to sit next to him and see if he's going to punch me in the f****** face."

Author Michael Lewis revealed in an interview that Paramount Pictures allowed director and screenwriter Adam McKay to make this film only if he agreed to make a sequel to Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004).

The quotation that appears on screen, "'Truth is like poetry. And most people fucking hate poetry.' - Overheard at a Washington, D.C. bar," was written by director and co-writer Adam McKay, after unsuccessfully searching for the perfect quotation to use for that segment.

Margot Robbie claimed that she was drinking real 20-year-old Dom Perignon champagne during her scene in the bathtub, adding that the only challenge was that she did have to read her lines from memory.

The real Michael Burry made a cameo in the film as a Scion employee. At the beginning of the scene in which the fictional Burry's investors confront him at his office, he is briefly shown standing near the front door, talking on the phone.

Popular Dialogues

"Mark Baum: I don't get it. Why are they confessing? Danny Moses: They're not confessing. Porter Collins: They're bragging."

"Overheard at a Washington, D.C. bar: "Truth is like poetry. And most people fucking hate poetry.""
