Diwali might be all about lights, sweets, and new gadgets, but NVIDIA has decided to throw gamers a little something extra this festive season. The company has introduced new four-month GeForce NOW memberships in India, giving gamers a longer subscription option at a lower overall cost than paying for individual monthly memberships. And that’s not all. NVIDIA is also adding nine new games to its cloud gaming platform, including some rather interesting new releases. Let’s start with the pricing, because that’s arguably the bigger announcement for Indian gamers.

GeForce NOW gets new four-month plans in India
Starting October 29, NVIDIA has introduced four-month subscription options for both GeForce NOW Performance and Ultimate memberships in India. The Performance plan costs Rs. 3,499 for four months, while the more premium Ultimate tier will set gamers back Rs. 6,999 for the same duration.
The idea here is fairly straightforward. Instead of renewing a subscription every month, gamers can commit to four months upfront and enjoy the same benefits at a lower overall cost. That’s particularly useful for people who regularly use cloud gaming but don’t necessarily want another monthly subscription eating into their entertainment budget.
For perspective, the four-month Performance plan works out to approximately Rs. 875 per month, while Ultimate comes to around Rs. 1,750 per month. Of course, there’s an upfront payment involved, but the longer subscription could make sense for regular users.
For those unfamiliar with the difference, Performance is the more accessible tier, while Ultimate is designed for gamers who want the best possible streaming experience. Ultimate members can access RTX 5080-class performance on supported devices, which is particularly interesting considering that cloud gaming essentially allows users to access high-end gaming hardware without investing in an equally expensive gaming PC.
And that’s really the appeal of GeForce NOW in markets like India. Not everyone wants to spend ₹1 lakh or more on a gaming laptop just to enjoy demanding PC titles. Being able to stream games across supported devices, including relatively modest hardware, makes the proposition considerably more interesting.
Nine new games are joining GeForce NOW
Now, onto the games. NVIDIA is adding nine titles to GeForce NOW this week, with a mix of new releases and existing games making their way to the cloud.
The biggest addition is arguably Phantom Blade Zero, which arrives on October 28 alongside its Steam release. Developed by S-GAME, the action RPG combines martial arts-inspired combat with a distinctive kung-fu-punk setting. Its cinematic fighting sequences and fast-paced combat make it an interesting addition, particularly for gamers who enjoy action-heavy titles.
Other new releases include ATMOSFAR, Hunting Simulator 3, and Queen’s Domain, arriving on Steam between October 29 and 30. The remaining additions include Dimraeth and Dressmaker on Steam, alongside Halloween on the Epic Games Store. NVIDIA is also bringing Hell Let Loose: Vietnam to the platform through Epic Games Store, as well as The Seance of Blake Manor on Steam.
Here’s the complete list:
- Phantom Blade Zero (Steam)
- ATMOSFAR (Steam)
- Hunting Simulator 3 (Steam)
- Queen’s Domain (Steam)
- Dimraeth (Steam)
- Dressmaker (Steam)
- Halloween (Epic Games Store)
- Hell Let Loose: Vietnam (Epic Games Store)
- The Seance of Blake Manor (Steam)
There’s another interesting addition for existing GeForce NOW subscribers. NVIDIA is introducing in-game mod.io support for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered.
For anyone who enjoys tinkering with games, mods can significantly extend the life of an otherwise familiar experience. From visual improvements and gameplay tweaks to entirely new community-created content, they give players more reasons to revisit their favourite titles. Bringing mod.io support directly into these games on GeForce NOW should make customisation more accessible to cloud gamers, although the experience will depend on how individual mods are supported.
A little something extra for gamers this Diwali
NVIDIA is giving Indian GeForce NOW users a festive treat with cheaper four-month subscription options, RTX 5080-class cloud gaming for Ultimate members, and nine new games. The longer plans also make the service easier on the wallet, lowering the effective monthly cost and making cloud gaming a little more tempting.
However, attracting a wider audience in India will depend on more than just pricing. Network quality, server performance, and game availability will play an equally important role. Still, the idea of enjoying high-end PC gaming without investing in expensive hardware is promising — and a little Diwali cheer certainly doesn’t hurt!
