Vivo Y22 has been launched in India as the latest budget offering in the country. The latest Y-series phone ships with a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, dual camera sensors housed in a rectangular module, and narrow bezels. The Vivo Y22 features a 3.5mm audio jack and a secondary mic for noise cancellation during video recording. The Vivo Y22 will be available via Vivo online store and offline retail outlets.

The Vivo Y22 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ 2.5D display with a waterdrop notch, 1612×720 pixels resolution, 530nits brightness under bright sunlight, Blue-light filter, and an anti-glare surface that is said to offer soft touch and resistance from scratches and fingerprints. The phone is powered by the dated MediaTek MT6769 chipset paired 4GB RAM and 64GB storage options that is further expandable via a microSD card. The handset runs on Android 12 based Funtouch OS custom skin out of the box.
