PC brand Acer’s new Swift 14 AI laptop has been launched as the company’s first Copilot+ PC in global markets, including the US. The Acer Swift 14 AI laptop offers optimised AI features for productivity and is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon X Series platforms, a 14.5-inch WQXGA display, Wi-Fi 7, and more. Acer has announced that the Swift 14 AI (SF14-11) will start at USD 1,099, which is approximately Rs 91,543. It will be available for purchase in North America beginning in July. Meanwhile, the India availability of the Acer Swift 14 AI is not known yet.

Copilot+ PC features
The Acer Swift 14 AI is touted as the brand’s first Copilot+ PC, which is in collaboration with the technology giants Microsoft and Qualcomm Technologies. The features of the Copilot+ PC include Recall, Live Captions, Cocreator, Auto Super Resolution, Windows Studio Effects, and a dedicated Copilot key.
Acer says that the Recall feature allows users to find things they have seen on their PC by describing what they remember. Meanwhile, the Live Captions feature provides automatic speech captions with real-time translation from 44 different languages to English.
The Cocreator can be used to co-create AI images and texts using visual or written prompts. On the other hand, the Auto Super Resolution feature upscales graphics resolution and improves frame refresh rates of games in real time.
The Windows Studio Effects feature allows users to improve lighting conditions and cancel out unwanted background noise while being on video calls. Lastly, Copilot can be accessed through a single click of a dedicated key.
Swift 14 AI features
The Acer Swift 14 AI laptop comes with a 180-degree hinge design and features a 14.5-inch WQXGA IPS 120Hz display with edge-to-edge touchscreen options and TUV Rheinland Eyesafe Certification 2.0 for better and safe visibility.
The newly launched Acer laptop is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processors and has up to 32 GB LPDDR5X-8533 RAM and up to 1 TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD. It includes two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and a USB Type-C.
This Swift 14 AI laptop is equipped with a 1440p QHD IR webcam, triple microphone array, and the company’s suite of AI-boosted conferencing tools. It also flaunts Wi-Fi 7 for delivering speeds of up to 5.8 Gbps and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity for low network latency.
Furthermore, the all-new Acer Swift 14 AI also features DTS X Audio and dual speakers and is claimed to offer up to 16 hours of battery life. The laptop weighs around 1.36 kilograms and operates on Windows 11.
