Apple is all set to unveil the iPhone 15 series at the Cupertino campus. The event will also witness the announcements regards the Apple Watch Series 9, Watch Ultra 2, and others. The anticipation surrounding the launch of new iPhones is quite high all thanks to the rumoured inclusion of the USB Type-C port. Apple is also rumoured to introduce AirPods Pro 2 with a USB Type-C port as well. Here's how to watch the event online.

- The iPhone 15 Pro series will come with Always-On-Display support and the ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate support could be limited to the costlier versions. This is a bit disappointing considering that there was a belief that Apple might extend this to vanilla iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. All four models in the series may come with the same display sizes as previous models.
- The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be powered by last year's A16 Bionic chipset, while the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max get the new A17 SoC on board.
- The storage versions will be the same as predecessors: starting at 128GB and going all the way up to 1TB. All models will run on the latest iOS 17 out of the box.
- Moving to cameras, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will have a 48MP primary camera. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will get a new 48MP unit, which is an "almost 1-inch" camera sensor. There are reports that the brand is working on a periscope lens technology with 3x zoom capability.
- Battery units on the iPhone 15 series will also see an upgrade. The vanilla iPhone 15 could house a 3,877mAh battery, the iPhone 15 Plus could ship with a 4,912mAh battery, the iPhone 15 Pro might pack a 3,650mAh battery, and lastly, the iPhone 15 Pro Max may have a 4,852mAh battery. All models could get a 35W fast charging upgrade.
- A wild rumour states there might be a fifth iPhone 15 Ultra, or the Pro Max might just be renamed.
iPhone 15 series price (expected)
- iPhone 15 price could start at $749 (roughly Rs 62,300) for the base model.
- iPhone 15 Plus price may be priced at $849 (roughly Rs 70,500) for the 128GB version.
- The iPhone 15 Pro price is expected to start at $1,099 (roughly Rs 91,300)
- The iPhone 15 Pro Max price could start at $1,299 (roughly Rs 1,07,900).
