Fire-boltt Gladiator vs Apple Watch Ultra

Starting with the pricing, the Fire-boltt Gladiator will be priced at Rs 2,499 when it is launched on December 30th. The watch will be available exclusively on Amazon, from 12PM onward on Thursday. In comparison, the Apple Watch Ultra price in India starts at Rs 89,900 — more than 35x the price of the Gladiator smartwatch.

In terms of the overall feature set, the Fire-Boltt Gladiator comes with a 1.96-inch HD display, with 600 nits peak brightness and an ‘ultra slim frame’ design. The company has claimed that it can track 123 different sports, and offers always-on heart rate tracking, as well as a blood oxygen monitor. Other key features include handsfree calling via Bluetooth, with an inbuilt speaker and microphone, and Contacts and Dialler apps.

Other key features include a ‘functioning’ rotating crown, eight preset menus and interfaces to select from, IP67 dust and water resistance, five GPS-based activity tracking modes, and ‘crack resistance’ as well.

Understandably, the lookalike doesn’t feature some of the extreme Apple Watch Ultra capabilities, such as water depth and temperature tracking, GPS way-tracking, extreme temperature support, advanced GPS support, emergency alarms that can reach up to 180 metres, and a 2,000 nits display.
