• The ASUS phone bears the model number ASUS_AI2401_A on Geekbench. This model number is associated with the ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate according to an IMEI database report.
• The listing shows the phone running an octa-core chipset with a new 1+5+2 CPU architecture that's been rumoured for the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Qualcomm is launching this flagship mobile chipset next month. 
• This model number is said to be associated with the vanilla ROG Phone 8 as well, so this phone might launch with the same chipset as well.  
• The Geekbench listing also shows the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate will come with Android 14. It has accumulated 2,213 points in the single-core test, and 7,408 points in the multi-core test. 
• The listing also reveals the phone will come with Android 14 and 16GB RAM.

Details on the ROG Phone 8 series are still scarce, and the launch is expected to take place next year. The ROG Phone 7 series launched in April this year so there's still a lot of time before the next-gen models debut. This time, ASUS would be adding another model in the series with the 'Pro' variant. The previous lineup includes the ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate.
