ColorOS 17 global launch date announced, key features teased
While the OPPO Find X10 series, comprising the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max, launches globally on October 21st in Spain, ColorOS 17 will be detailed a few days earlier, on October 13th. ColorOS’ social media handles have already started teasing the update’s new improvements and additions.
These include Living Flow Design and Luminous Effect, which work together to create fluid transitions when switching between pages and screens. When you tap elements, the UI reacts by displaying shades of light. The most prominent example is on the quick settings page, where the quick toggles illuminate on touch; when you swipe between the notifications and toggles pages, a curtain-like animation appears.
In addition, AI Suggest is being improved to offer more accurate widget recommendations, while the Laminar Flow Engine ensures endurance, speed, and performance remain consistent at all times. Together, these improvements should deliver an even smoother, more productive experience than ColorOS 16.
