The Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition running on the NVIDIA RTX Spark platform aims to bridge the gap between PC workspaces and personal computing by offering RTX 5070‑level graphics performance and an ultra-efficient CPU in a slim form factor.
The RTX Spark enables the laptop to run smoother playback on 4:2:2 4K timelines, faster exports, more responsive multitasking across complex 3D scenes, and compositing work, and a more fluid experience with AI-assisted creation. With up to 128GB of unified memory on board, the XPS 16 is one of the first XPS laptops to offer NVIDIA’s full-stack AI platform and RTX technologies, ensuring swift workflows without compromising on the weight.
Then comes the other better half of the Dell XPS 16, its Tandem OLED display that features True Black HDR 600 for delivering accurate, true-to-life colours so that users can create projects and renders in the colours as they intended. As for the ports and connectivity, the laptop gets a built-in SD card reader for quickly offloading media and an HDMI port for connecting external sources with ease.
The Dell XPS 16, when released, could go head-to-head against the likes of the Surface Laptop Ultra and MacBook Pro. With the laptop highly emphasising design, display quality, and efficiency over raw gaming power, it could be a highly suitable pick for video editors, photographers, designers, and developers who want a big, beautiful screen in a relatively thin and light body.
Dell has confirmed that the new XPS 16 Creator Edition marks just the beginning of its deepened partnership with NVIDIA, hinting at even more NVIDIA-based laptops ahead. While pricing, complete specifications, and the official launch date are yet to be revealed, most next-generation RTX Spark laptops are expected to arrive in the fall of 2026 at a price of at least USD 2,000, or equivalent to the latest generation of MacBook Pro on offer.
