Flipkart Big Saving Days sale deal on iPhones

iPhone 14

As a part of the Flipkart Big Saving Days early-bird sale, the iPhone 14 128GB model is currently listed at Rs 55,999.

Additionally, Flipkart is having a few bank offers to further bring down the price.
There will be a Citi-branded Credit card offer with EMI transactions. This brings down the effective price of the iPhone 14 to Rs 52,749.
Additionally, Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card holders can avail of a flat 5 percent cashback of Rs 2,800 on the phone.
OneCard users can get a flat Rs 2,250 discount with EMI transactions, bringing down the effective price to Rs 53,749.

iPhone 12

The iPhone 12 64GB variant will be available at Rs 40,999.
There will be several bank offers to further discount the overall price of the phone.
Citi Bank cardholders can avail of a flat Rs 2,250 discount when paid through EMI transactions. This brings down the price to Rs 38,749.
Flipkart Axis Bank Credit cardholders can get a flat 5 percent cashback of Rs 2,050, which brings the effective purchase price down to Rs 38,949.
OneCard holders can avail of a flat Rs 1,500 discount with EMI transactions, bringing the effective price to Rs 39,499.
There is also up to Rs 2,000 discount through HDFC Bank Credit and Debit card transactions.

Should you buy the iPhone 14/iPhone 12?

iPhone 14: The phone launched in 2022 and comes with A15 Bionic SoC, a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, a 12MP primary camera, and a FaceID sensor for security. The handset will receive at least 3-4 years of software updates from this point. All this makes the iPhone 14 a worthwhile option to consider if you can’t afford to spend close to Rs 65,000-70,000 on the latest iPhone 15.

The chipset is still very powerful enough to breeze through anything you throw at it. However, there are Android flagships around the same price which come with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a higher 120Hz display, and superior cameras. So the choice comes down to whether you want an iPhone or an Android phone.

iPhone 12: The iPhone 12 was introduced way back in 2020, which makes it at least 3 and a half years old. For the discounted price of Rs 40,000, the iPhone 12 is definitely not worth it. The battery life won’t be enough to handle your daily 5G network use cases. The display, while still an OLED panel, uses just a 60Hz refresh rate and is quite outdated. The cameras are not a match to today’s standards.

The iPhone 12 might only get 1-2 years of OS updates. For the price, we get top-end Android phones like the OnePlus 12R, iQOO Neo 9 Pro and others. If you still want an iPhone, spending some more on a new iPhone 13 makes sense.
