Here are all the games coming to Xbox Game Pass in January 2024

It’s a brand new year and it’s especially good for PC and Xbox games. Microsoft and PC games have a bunch of new titles to choose from in the Xbox Game Pass library. This will include the likes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Resident Evil 2, We Happy Few, and more. A few of the titles should already be available for players, while the rest will be made available by the end of the year. Here are all the games players can expect to be added to Xbox Game Pass in January.

Close to the Sun (Cloud, Console, PC) — January 3

This horror adventure game is set in an alternate 1897 where Nikola Tesla and Tomas Edison are battling it out for global technological domination. The game is set aboard a massive ship and sees the play explore the ship to find her sister.

Hell Let Loose (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) — January 4

Hell Let Loose is a massively multiplayer tactical FPS that is set in World War II. Players are divided into teams of 50 players each, and are then further segregated into smaller squads with one player assuming the role of commander. The commander deploys troops and equipment, while the various players have the task of capturing objectives and earning resources.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (Cloud, Console, PC) — January 9

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla lets you step into the shoes of Eivor, a Viking warrior as they explore England during the Dark Ages. As the story progresses, players will improve Evior’s skills and equipment to the point where they will be able to take on huge groups of enemies with ease.

Figment (Cloud, Console, PC) — January 9

This is an action-adventure game filled with music, and humor, that is layered with a great over-arching narrative. You play the role of a teenager’s courage and as tasked with defeating manifestations of nightmares and depression

Super Mega Baseball 4 (Cloud, Console, PC) — January 11

This one is for the sports fans. Super Mega Baseball 4 comes to Game Pass via EA Play and offers players an arcade-style experience of baseball. This should make the game more accessible to players who do not have much experience with the sport of baseball.

We Happy Few (Cloud, Console, PC) — January 11

Set in an alternate 1960s England where the inhabitants have resorted to taking hallucinogenic drugs to stay in a delusional utopia. The player will have to make their way out of the world while they are hunted by the inhabitants for being a ‘downer’.

Resident Evil 2 (Cloud, Console, PC) — January 16

Resident Evil 2 is considered to be one of the greatest games ever made. However, it is a very old game and many of the gameplay elements can feel dated. This version of Resident Evil 2 that coming to Game Pass will offer modernised gameplay, third-person perspective and improved visuals.

Those Who Remain (Cloud, Console, PC) — January 16

Those Who Remain is perfect for those who love a good story. The game offers a mix of psychological horror and survival elements and tasks players with surviving the night in the sleepy town of Dormont.
