OPPO A3 Pro launched in China earlier this month as a new mid-range offering and this is expected to be quickly followed by the vanilla OPPO A3. Now, the handset has appeared on TENAA, revealing the model number and some key hardware specifications. The handset may not launch in India, at least not with the same moniker considering OPPO A2 never made it here.

OPPO A3 bags TENAA certification

The OPPO A3 appears on TENAA with the model number PJT1100.
The listing shows the phone will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixels resolution, 16.7 million colour depth and a punch-hole cutout.

The handset is expected to measure 162.9 x 75.6 x 8.1mm and weigh 191 grams.
The upcoming OPPO phone is likely to pack a 5,375mAh battery but could be marketed as 5,500mAh. In comparison, the A3 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery.
The TENAA listing says the OPPO A3 will have a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary lens. We get a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies. For context, the A3 Pro has 64MP + 2MP dual cameras.
While the chipset details are not revealed, the phone will have an octa-core processor with a clock speed of 2.2GHz.
The phone will pack 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port.
While the operating system is mentioned as Android but the version details are not revealed. It could be Android 14-based on Funtouch OS custom skin on top.

Unfortunately, the TENAA listing isn’t updated with the images of the OPPO A3 but we believe they should be updated in the days to come.
