  • The company is now expanding this to offer refurbished PCs to regular customers and small businesses on a pay-as-you-go basis.
  • At first, HP says it is focusing on refurbishing notebooks, but it wants to grow and offer more things.
  • HP’s approved partner will get devices from businesses and regular customers, fix them up according to HP’s rules, and then sell them. They’ll also give good support after the sale, including a warranty.
  • The refurbishment scheme is based on HP’s earlier trial projects, like the reusing of around 20,000 devices annually for their own employees.
  • The company said it aims to reach 75 percent circularity for its products and packaging by 2030.
