Infinix Note Edge launched with curved AMOLED display and iPhone 17 Pro-like design
The Infinix Note Edge, which the company had been teasing for the past week, is now officially launched. At first glance, the phone looks quite familiar. The raised camera area, lens layout, and overall back design closely resemble Apple’s recent iPhone 17 Pro models. The similarity continued with the orange finish Infinix showed in early teasers — a shade that looks a lot like Apple’s recent bright orange colour — but the model isn’t part of the final release. However, its design influence is clear in how Infinix wants the Note Edge to be seen.
The familiar feel extends to the software as well. The Note Edge runs XOS 16 based on Android 16, marking a first for Infinix. The interface looks heavily inspired by Apple’s iOS 26 Liquid Glass style, with frosted layers, soft lighting, and translucent panels across the system. The overall look gives Android an iOS-like finish, which could attract users who like Apple’s design but still want the flexibility of Android.

Infinix also seems to have borrowed from Samsung’s playbook with the ‘Edge’ branding. The name and design highlight the phone’s curved AMOLED display, which is meant to give it a higher-end appearance. Infinix’s strategy seems to be that of mixing familiar design choices and branding ideas used to make the phone look more premium at first glance.
In terms of hardware, the Note Edge measures 7.2 mm thick and weighs 185 gms. Depending on the market, it comes with either a 6,500mAh or 6,150mAh battery. Infinix says the battery will keep at least 80 percent of its capacity after 2,000 charge cycles, which should mean around six years of use. It supports 45W fast charging and can fully charge in about 62 minutes.
On the front, the phone features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also offers a 2,800Hz touch sampling rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and thin 1.87mm bezels around the display. Gorilla Glass 7i adds protection, and dual JBL-tuned stereo speakers round out the setup.
Powering the phone is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100 chip, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The main camera uses a 50MP sensor, and there’s a side button that can be customised to launch the Folax AI assistant. The phone is IP65 certified for dust and water resistance and comes in Lunar Titanium, Silk Green, Stellar Blue, and Shadow Black. Pricing starts at USD 200 (around Rs 18,200), with regional prices still to be announced.
Overall, the Infinix Note Edge focuses on design, display quality, and battery health. These features could make it stand out in the mid-range category. However, how well it competes with rivals from Redmi, Realme, and Samsung will depend on camera performance and long-term reliability once buyers and reviewers get their hands on it.
