Apple unveiled the latest Apple iPad Pro models last month alongside the new MacBook Air and Mac Mini computer. The brand started taking pre-orders for the iPad Pro just a few days after the US launch of the device. The latest slate from the Cupertino giant goes on sale in India starting today via offline stores. The new iPad Pro models come in 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes and are powered by the company’s new A12 Bionic processor.

iPad Pro 2018 price in India, availability

The iPad Pro 2018 12.9-inch and 11-inch models come in both Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + cellular model. Both models will be offered in 64GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB internal storage across both variants. The 11-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs 71,900 and goes up to Rs 1,53,900. On the other hand, the 12.9-inch iPad will set you back by Rs 89,900 for the base variant and goes up to Rs 1,71,900 for the high-end variant. Apple will also be offering the new Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard folio. The Apple Pencil will retail for Rs 10,900 in India, whereas the Folio comes with a price tag of Rs 15,900 and INR 17,900 for the 11-inch and 12.9-inch models respectively.

The iPad Pro 2018 will be up for grabs via Apple Premium resellers such as Unicorn and Maple Store later in the day today. As of now, there is no word whether the two tablets will be available on Amazon and Flipkart.

Coming to the spec sheet, 11-inch iPad Pro bears a display resolution of 2,388 x 1,688 pixels, while the 12.9-inch model supports 2,732 x 2,048 pixels. The brand has removed the Touch ID on the latest iPad to offer uniform bezels and a slim profile. The iPad Pro now makes use of the Face ID for security. Further, the new iPad Pro 2018 comes powered by Apple’s latest A12X Bionic chip with 64-bit desktop-class architecture.

In the imaging department, the iPad Pro 2018 comes with a 12-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture lens on the rear with quad-LED flash and a 7-megapixel shooter for selfies. On the software front, the device boots iOS 12 out of the box.
