The iPhone SE 2020 starts at Rs 29,999 in India.
Although the iPhone SE 2020 has been officially discontinued by Apple in India, it is still available for purchase. You can head over to Flipkart if you want to buy the phone, but you'll still end up paying Rs 29,999 for the base model with 64GB storage. We expected the prices for the iPhone SE 2020 to be slashed after iPhone SE 3 launch, but that doesn't seem to be case right now. The 128GB variant is priced at Rs 34,999, whereas the 256GB version is Rs 44,999.
This makes the iPhone SE 2020 variant the cheapest iPhone available in India at the moment.
The iPhone SE 3 base 64GB variant will be priced at Rs 43,900, which is a lot more expensive than the base iPhone SE 2020 model. Of course, you do get the latest Apple A15 Bionic chipset, 5G, and improved rear camera. The 128GB model is Rs 48,900, and the 256GB variant is Rs 58,900.
The iPhone SE 3 price in India is much higher than what we anticipated. We expected Apple to price its budget iPhone between Rs 30,000 and 40,000. That's clearly not the case though, especially when you can purchase phones with bigger displays, batteries, more cameras, and 5G for around Rs 30,000.
