iQOO Neo 9S Pro to launch with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset

A new iQOO Neo series device has been listed on the Google Play console. It’s called the iQOO Neo 9S Pro and it carries the model number V2339A. The phone’s specifications, as per the listing, include a flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset and at least 12GB of RAM. The device is powered by Android 14 and has a 2800x1260p display.

To recall, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro was launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset in India this February. The device was a rebranded version of the Chinese market’s vanilla iQOO Neo 9.

In the brand’s home country, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro launched with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset and an upgraded 50MP ultrawide camera. This device could be sold in India or other global markets as the iQOO Neo 9S Pro. It could also sport a Blue colour option similar to the Chinese variant

iQOO Neo 9S Pro specifications (expected)

  • Display: 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED with 2800×1260p resolution and 144Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 8300
  • Cameras: 50MP IMX920 main camera + 50MP ultrawide angle camera, 16MP front camera for selfies
  • Battery: 5,160mAh, 120W fast charging
  • OS: FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14

Things will certainly get interesting with the entry of this smartphone in the Indian market. Like its sibling, the device could go directly against the OnePlus 12R. A better dual-camera setup certainly sweetens the deal. There is a possibility that this device completely replaces the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-laden Neo 9 Pro or features further upgrades. However, it would be wise to note that iQOO has not confirmed any details of the launch of this device.
