iQOO Z11 launch teased with 165Hz display, 9,020mAh battery, price also hinted
iQOO has started teasing the iQOO Z11 ahead of a launch later this month, revealing that the phone will target the CNY 2,000 – CNY 3,000 (around Rs 27,000 – Rs 40,000) price segment in China. That is higher than some models in the Z-series and the cost could be driven by the industry-wide surge in prices of memory components, but upgrades have been suggested in battery life and display.
The iQOO Z10 Turbo launched in China in April 2025 starting at CNY 1,799 (around Rs 24,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Moving into the CNY 2,000 – CNY 3,000 bracket places the Z11 in a slightly more premium segment, where brands typically push more aggressive specifications.

In a bid to justify the price rise, iQOO’s product manager Xing Cheng has revealed the Z11 will feature a 165Hz display and a 9,020mAh battery, which would be the largest battery used in an iQOO smartphone so far. Battery size is becoming a talking point across segments, and this segment is most competitive in that regard. The recently launched Realme P4 Power, for instance, debuted with a 10,001mAh battery in a similar price range, signalling how brands are pushing endurance as a major selling point.
The display could be the differentiator for iQOO. A 165Hz panel is still uncommon outside gaming-focussed devices, even though some brands have begun experimenting with faster screens. OnePlus, for example, recently introduced 165Hz displays on its flagship OnePlus 15 and sub-flagship OnePlus 15R, but most devices in the mid-range still use 120Hz panels.
More specifications have surfaced through leaks. According to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the Z11 may feature a 6.83-inch OLED LTPS display with a flat design and a 1.5K resolution. The device could also arrive in a configuration with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Certification databases have also begun showing traces of the device ahead of launch. A phone believed to be the Z11 recently appeared on China’s 3C certification platform with support for 90W charging. The iQOO Z11 5G also surfaced in Malaysia’s SIRIM database and the IMEI database, suggesting an imminent global launch.
The previous generation iQOO Z10 launched in April 2025 with a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. It ran on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and included a 7,300mAh battery with 90W charging, along with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilisation. Compared with that device, the Z11 appears to push battery capacity and refresh rate further.
For buyers in the segment, the Z11 could appeal if its larger battery and faster display translate into longer gaming sessions and smoother everyday use. The processor and final pricing will ultimately determine how strongly it competes once the phone officially launches later this month. Alongside the Z11, iQOO is also preparing the iQOO Z11x for launch in India on March 12th with a 7,200mAh battery.
