As part of its continuous effort in making an impact in the budget to midrange segment, itel has today introduced the A100 Pro for just Rs 8,999. Coming with a heavy focus on durability and design, the smartphone is equipped with military-grade certification (MIL-STD-810H) and a head-turning appearance since it comes in a bright orange colour shade called Comet Orange. The other two colours include Black and Cloud White.
To further back the strong durability and toughness of its smartphone, itel is providing a free screen replacement scheme if the user breaks the display within 100 days of purchase.
Featuring a single 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, the RAM is expandable up to 8GB using the RAM boost feature. It is powered by the same Unisoc T7100 processor, which runs on the itel A100 (review), indicating entry-level performance for basic tasks and operations, such as chatting on WhatsApp, watching YouTube videos, and light 2D gaming.
The itel A100 Pro runs on Android 15 Go Edition, a lightweight and minimal version of Android designed for smooth everyday performance on devices with limited RAM. However, launching in mid-2026 with Android 15 feels disappointing, especially since the stable Android 17 update is just around the corner. That said, the software offers Dynamic Bar, a pill-shaped interface to display battery, call, and notification status.
Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery housed inside an 8.49mm-thick body with 10W charging support. The handset also rocks a 3.5mm headphone jack for enjoying media and music through wired headphones.
At Rs 8,999, the itel A100 Pro isn’t chasing the best performance numbers or camera quality. With the durability and design being the highlights, it’s suitable for first-time smartphone users which basic phone usage, or those who seek a secondary phone with a toughned build.
