Jio launched a new Rs 555 plan under its Cricket plans tab that offers a Disney+ Hotstar subscription for an entire year. The plan comes a day after the company introduced a Rs 279 Cricket add-on pack. It is not a completely new plan, as Jio used to offer a Rs 555 plan before the price hikes. The old plan’s benefits were 1.5GB daily data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMSes per day. However, the new Rs 555 plan from Jio is an add-on plan. Jio has also launched a Rs 2,999 limited period plan alongside the Jio Rs 555 pack. Let’s look at what these new Jio plans have to offer.

Jio Rs 555 cricket add-on pack
Jio Rs 555 cricket plan brings a free subscription to Disney+ Hotstar Mobile and 55GB high-speed mobile data.
The Jio Rs 555 cricket add-on plan offers a free Disney+ Hotstar subscription. The subscription, however, is a mobile plan that can only be watched on mobile with ads. The plan offers a total of 55GB of high-speed data for 55 days period time. Additionally, the recharge offers a subscription to Jio Apps like Jio TV, JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioCloud, but there is a catch. The Rs 555 Jio plan is an add-on pack that does not offer any free calling and SMS benefits.
Jio Rs 2,999 Annual plan
Jio has also added a limited period Rs 2,999 plan to its Annual plans portfolio. The recharge offers 2.5GB daily data, valid for 365 days. The user gets 912.5GB of data in total with this plan. Post daily quota, the internet speed will drop to 64Kbps. Additionally, the plan offers unlimited calls and 100SMS per day throughout the validity period. Furthermore, the plan also offers Jio Apps and Disney+ Hotstar mobile subscriptions. The user gets a Rs 200 cashback on the recharge, which falls under the Jio Mart Maha Cashback scheme.
