Lava has announced that they will introduce the upcoming ProWatch model on April 23rd at 11:00 AM IST. Currently, there is no additional information available about the launch. The company will reveal the rest of the details during the event.
According to the teaser provided by the company, the upcoming Lava Prowatch will offer a tough and durable display that is resistant to scratches and can endure some external force. Additionally, the teaser suggests that the upcoming smartwatch will include a metal frame, button, and rotating crown.
The teaser also suggests that the Lava smartwatch will include fitness tracking capabilities such as monitoring activities and heart rate, which the company claims will provide more precise tracking compared to other devices.
It is also expected that the smartwatch will be compatible with interchangeable straps. It's uncertain at the moment whether the device will operate on Google's Wear OS, enabling users to install apps on the watch.
While there hasn't been any official confirmation yet, reports suggest that the upcoming Lava Prowatch could be launched around or under Rs 4,000 in India.
Meanwhile, Lava launched its first fitness band, the Lava BeFit, in India at Rs 2,699. The band boasts the ability to measure body temperature, a feature not commonly found in other fitness bands in this price segment.
It also offers various notifications, including calls, emails, messages, and social media alerts. Additionally, it includes a heart rate sensor for continuous heart rate tracking, GPS tracking, sedentary reminders, vibration alerts, run plans, and water resistance.
