What the Lumio Vision 9 offers

With the display being its major highlight, the Lumio Vision 9 55-inch sports a QD MiniLED panel with Lumio’s EVA technology, offering up to 7,000:1 native contrast, 1,00,000:1 dynamic contrast, 800 nits peak brightness, and excellent colour accuracy (Delta E < 1.9). It supports 4K at 144Hz, 1080p at 240Hz, VRR (48–240Hz), and delivers an input lag of just 9.7ms.

It is powered by the MediaTek Pentonic 700 chipset, 3GB DDR4 RAM, and faster storage that Lumio claims delivers twice the performance of comparable TVs. It runs Android 14 out of the box, while connectivity includes full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 (48Gbps), with Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG support. Audio comes from a 50W 2.2 DGS system with hexa drivers (dual subwoofers, full-range drivers, and tweeters), reaching down to 38Hz.

On the software side, it runs Lumio’s TLDR 2.0 platform, which brings 34 new features including daily Trending Top 10, unified Lumio Ratings, and improved smart search. While we’re yet to review the 55-inch variant of this TV, the 65-inch model impressed us with its superb display quality, fluid UI, punchy audio output, and two HDMI 2.1 ports with support for up to 4K resolution playback at 144Hz. On the other hand, our review noted that the HDR performance could’ve been better while console-related quirks remain an issue.

Given the deal price, it’s a solid option for those looking to elevate their home entertainment experience. One can consider upgrading if your current TV lacks 4K 120Hz support or if you’re looking for a significant boost in HDR performance. On the other hand, the Arc 5 and Arc 7 projectors deliver native 1080p resolution with HDR10 support, are powered by the MediaTek MT9630 chipset and carry 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

Both projectors feature Lumio’s sealed ArcLight optical engine for dust resistance, auto keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, Bluetooth connectivity, and official Netflix & Google TV support. The focus on QD MiniLED for the Vision 9 aligns with the industry’s shift towards advanced display technologies, while the competitive pricing on the Arc projectors reflects the growing demand for affordable home cinema solutions.
