Moto G Stylus (2026) launches globally with improved stylus support and a 1.5K AMOLED display
Motorola has expanded its US portfolio with two new devices: the Moto G Stylus (2026) and the Moto Pad (2026). The former builds on last year’s model, which debuted in India as the Moto Edge 60 Stylus (review). While there’s no official word yet on an India launch for the Stylus (2026), it’s expected to offer a more refined experience if it arrives. Motorola says the upgraded stylus now supports tilt and pressure sensitivity in compatible apps, allowing for broader shading, finer strokes, and more natural input, bringing it closer to a pen-on-paper experience for everyday tasks.
The OEM also claims over 100 hours of standby time and around 4 hours of writing for the stylus. All this with 15 minutes of charge. Furthermore, the stylus is more durable than ever before. It’s rated to be IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance certified, much like the Moto G Stylus (2026). The smartphone also boasts SGS-certified “military-grade toughness”.

Moto G Stylus (2026) specifications
The Moto G Stylus (2026) runs Android 16 out of the box. The handset sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 5,000-nit peak brightness. Under the hood, the G Stylus (2026) rocks a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, expandable up to 1TB.
In optics, the smartphone ships with a dual-camera setup, including a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C sensor with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide and Macro Vision, a 3-in-1 light sensor. The front camera is a 32MP sensor for selfies and video calling. All three cameras come with 4K video recording support. The design of the phone is identical to the G Stylus (2025), with a squarish rear camera module, which seamlessly blends with the back panel.
The handset also measures approximately the same, 162.15 x 74.78 x 8.29mm in dimensions and 192.4g weight, as its predecessor. The smartphone sports an in-display fingerprint scanner for security and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Keeping the lights on is a 5,200mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging support.
Connectivity options include a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. There are several AI photography and productivity tools available to enhance usability.
Moto Pad (2026) specifications
The Moto Pad (2026), meanwhile, flaunts an 11-inch display that bears 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet features quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support to enhance the multimedia experience. At its core lies a 5G-capable MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and a 7,040mAh battery with 20W charging support.
Moto G Stylus (2026) and Pad (2026) price, availability
The Moto G Stylus 5G (2026) is only exclusive to the US right now, with a sticker price of $499 (Rs 46,200). The handset comes in two colour options: Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Lavender Mist. The sale of the smartphone starts in the country from April 16th onwards.
The Moto Pad (2026) won’t be available until April 30th. It has been priced at $249 (~Rs 23,000) in the US and is available in Pantone Bronze Green colourway.
