The Edge 50 Ultra will be the third phone in the series in India after the Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion. It’s also touted to be the most expensive in the series. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra India launch was announced on X. The smartphone is launching in India on June 18th at 12 pm. It’s also confirmed to go on sale via Flipkart, Motorola India’s website, and leading stores. There’s a dedicated page on Flipkart for the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra where its specifications, features, and design have been revealed.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is also confirmed to come with Moto AI which includes a bunch of AI features. Magic Canvas lets you create images using AI with text prompts. So you type out a description of what you want and AI will turn that into an image. There’s AI adaptive stabilisation for steady videos, AI-based autofocus tracking, photo enhancement, and more.
The Flipkart teaser also confirms the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will come in three colour options: Peach Fuzz, Nordic Wood, and Forest Grey (silicone vegan leather). As for the rest of the specifications, Motorola has already revealed them on the teaser page. There’s no difference between the Indian and global variants of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. Now, only the price reveal is remaining for the new phone.
In Europe, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a starting price of EUR 999 (Rs 88,800 approx). It will be priced lesser in India but most likely more than the Edge 50 Pro which starts at Rs 31,999 in India. Motorola has been aggressively pricing the Edge 50 series in India so we’re expecting a similar decision for the Edge 50 Ultra as well.
