We have information about the screen resolution, processor, RAM and storage variants, camera specs battery capacity, and colour options of the smartphone. These add to the Motorola One Zoom’s design details that were leaked in the past and give us a fuller picture of the upcoming smartphone. Previously, leaks suggested that there was a Motorola One Pro model in the works, though it was reported today the company will be launching that handset under the Motorola One Zoom moniker instead.

According to our source, the Motorola One Zoom will have a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. While a previous report claimed the handset will have a 6.2-inch display, we can confirm the phone will also support HDR. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 675 processor. The handset will come in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants, while the storage models will be 64GB and 128GB. The device will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery and offer NFC connectivity. We’ve learned that the smartphone will come in Grey and Purple colours at launch, though we can expect more hues; we have seen a render of the smartphone in Brown colour in the past.

As for the camera specs, leaked press renders suggest that Motorola One Zoom will come with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and Quad Pixel tech at the rear. The new information provided to us by our source suggests that the secondary snapper of the handset at the rear will be a 12-megapixel sensor, while the third shooter will be an 8-megapixel snapper. There’s no word regarding the fourth camera at the moment. The quad-camera setup of the smartphone is expected to utilise the pixel binning technology, which combines the captured information from all cameras to create a final image. The camera setup will offer dual OIS, 1.6-micron pixel size and focal length of 13mm to 81mm. Tipster Roland Quandt speculates the smartphone should offer 5x hybrid zoom. For selfies, the smartphone will be fitted with a 16-megapixel shooter, suggests our source. 

Talking about the design, renders show a handset will come with a waterdrop notch above the screen and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The renders also show a 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port at the bottom and Power and Volume Rocker on the right. The smartphone reportedly will be 9.8mm thick (camera bump included). Lastly, Quandt speculates the Motorola One Zoom price will be around €429 (around Rs 34,000) and that the handset will be unveiled at IFA 2019.
