Motorola is tipped to launch a new generation of its foldable smartphone under the iconic ‘Razr’ mobile phone lineup later this year. Now, a series of leaks and certifications have started offering details in terms of what the smartphone may have to offer, including its potential charging speed in the latest certification under China’s 3C, which surfaced online.

What the Motorola Razr+ may offer

According to the 3C certification post, the 2023 Motorola Razr+ will come with 33W fast charging, which is 10 percent higher than the 30W fast charging that was already on offer with the 2022 Moto Razr. Along with this, the Motorola Razr+ could also upgrade its battery size, which is tipped to increase by 4 percent — up from 3,500mAh on the 2022 Razr, to a purported 3,640mAh in the upcoming Motorola Razr+.

The 3C certification does not reveal any further details in terms of the overall specifications, but does suggest that the device could be launched within the coming months. The smartphone has featured in the European Commission’s certification platform as well, suggesting that the device will be a global launch from the Lenovo-owned company.

A previous leak had stated that the Motorola Razr+ of 2023 will feature a significantly larger cover display on the outer fold, which will also come with two cameras. The outer display could be over 3 inches in size, and could show significantly more information than before. The report likened it to Oppo’s new Find N2 Flip, and further added that Motorola could be skipping the front camera on the inside folding display of the Razr+ since the outer display would be large enough to serve as a high-resolution viewfinder.
