Infinix’s flagship gaming technology

  • Infinix’s new gaming technology functions on four key aspects to deliver extreme gaming performance, these factors include processor, cooling, graphics, and AI optimisation.
  • The processor showcased is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC while the new cooling system in question is the CoolMax technology
  • This comprehensive system has allowed Infinix to register the highest score yet on AnTuTu of 22,15,639
  • The CoolMax technology uses thermal-electric cooling (TEC) and the Peltier effect to efficiently regulate temperature.
  • TEC essentially uses electricity to create a temperature difference between two surfaces, which in this case is likely the heat generation component (chipset) and the cooling plate.
  • The CoolMax technology claims the device can drop up to 10 degrees Celsius in temperature.
  • Infinix is also using Pixelworks visual processors to provide refresh rates of up to 180Hz for FHD+ and 144Hz for WQHD+ resolution displays.
  • Infinix’s AI algorithm dynamically adjusts core utilisation based on different scenarios, basically using bigger cores when gaming and smaller cores during normal functioning.

Infinix’s charging technology

  • Infinix has also introduced two new charging technologies: Infinix AirCharge and Infinix Extreme-Temp Battery.
  • The AirCharge is a magnetic-resonance-based wireless charging technology.
  • The Extreme-Temp battery is designed to support charging in extremely cold temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius
  • Infinix shares that a similar technology will be used in its upcoming product launch.

Infinix flagship gaming smartphone

As mentioned before, Infinix plans to launch a dual-core gaming smartphone named Infinix GT Ultra. It is likely that the upcoming device will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC along with these new gaming technologies. The upcoming gaming smartphone will compete with dedicated gaming devices on the market, such as those from RedMagic and ASUS ROG Phone.
