Nothing could soon expand its smartphone lineup with a special Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) edition of the upcoming Nothing Phone 4b. According to tipster Debayan Roy, the company is preparing an RCB-themed version of the phone alongside the standard model. Another tipster, Abhishek Yadav, also posted on X that the Nothing Phone 4b will come in three colours and a fourth special edition, but stopped short of giving more details.
The rumoured edition comes months after Nothing became the title sponsor of Royal Challengers Bengaluru for the 2026 IPL season. The partnership followed RCB’s maiden IPL title in 2025, and the team successfully defended the trophy in the 2026 season.
Nothing Phone 4b expected features and specifications
We’re not sure what the Nothing Phone 4b RCB edition would bring but we can expect a different box along with special RCB-themed accessories. A colour blocked phone in RCB’s signature red, black and gold also cannot be ruled out, though these are all speculations. We doubt the specifications of the RCB edition from those of the standard Nothing Phone 4b.
Nothing has only confirmed a Snapdragon chipset for the phone but leaks have suggested what the spec sheet could look like. The Nothing Phone 4b is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset. The phone is also expected to retain signature Nothing features such as the Glyph Interface and Essential Key.
Other rumoured specifications include up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 16MP front-facing camera. The device is also said to offer stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP64 dust and splash resistance, and a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The global variant is reportedly expected to feature a slightly smaller battery.
While the hardware appears competitive for the upper mid-range segment, the use of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage may disappoint buyers.
Nothing Phone 4b India price
According to Roy, the Nothing Phone 4b is expected to be priced above Rs 30,000 in India. If that happens, it will compete with devices such as the OnePlus Nord CE 6 series, Motorola Edge lineup, and the iQOO Neo 10. Nothing could differentiate the Phone 4b through its software experience, distinctive transparent design and Glyph Interface rather than chasing performance numbers. The RCB Edition may also appeal to fans looking for an exclusive design, provided the company includes custom finishes, wallpapers or accessories instead of simply changing the retail packaging.
If the leak is accurate, this would be one of the few examples of a smartphone brand launching a limited-edition device tied to a sports franchise. Companies including OnePlus, iQOO and Realme have previously introduced special editions inspired by gaming, anime and pop culture, but cricket-themed smartphones remain relatively uncommon in India.
