Nothing Phone (4b) specifications leaked ahead of July 7th debut

Nothing is set to launch the Phone (4b), the first model in its new “b” series. Ahead of its official launch on July 7th, a fresh leak has revealed key specifications, offering a clearer picture of what could be the company’s next budget smartphone. Nothing has so far revealed the Phone (4b)’s design and colour.

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Nothing Phone (4b) will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset. The processor choice aligns with a recent Geekbench listing, which also suggested the handset will ship with 8GB RAM and Android 16-based Nothing OS. Early Geekbench scores of 1,088 in single-core and 3,155 in multi-core tests suggest the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 should deliver dependable everyday performance for regular to moderate usage. The handset will most likely compete with the hoard of budget phones powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset in the budget segment.

The Phone 4b is tipped to feature a 50MP primary rear camera as part of a dual-camera setup, while a 5,400mAh battery is expected to power the device. Nothing could offer the phone in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage variants, alongside three colour options. It has already been shown in blue, and the handset may launch in black and white colours.

The company has also revealed that the handset features a compact horizontal Glyph Bar positioned beneath the camera module, similar to the Phone (3a) series. The new lighting strip will continue to support notifications, charging status and app-specific alerts while giving the phone a cleaner look. The Phone (4b) also carries a distinctive Nothing design, which will definitely make it stand out in the crowd.

If the leaked specifications prove accurate and Nothing prices the Phone (4b) aggressively, it could appeal to buyers looking for a clean Android experience, distinctive design and reliable day-to-day performance without stretching to premium price brackets.
