OnePlus has quietly increased the price of the Nord CE 6 in India for the second time since the phone’s launch, continuing a trend of post-launch price revisions that has affected several devices across brands. The latest increase comes just days after the company raised prices of the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite, and announced the launch of the OnePlus N6 in the sub-Rs 25,000 segment.
OnePlus Nord CE 6 new prices
The revised prices are already live on the OnePlus website. The OnePlus Nord CE 6 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage now costs Rs 33,999, up from Rs 31,999 previously. The 8GB + 256GB variant has also gone up to Rs 36,999 from Rs 34,999.
| Variant | Launch Price | 1st hike | Latest price |
| 8GB + 128GB | Rs 29,999 | Rs 31,999 | Rs 33,999 |
| 8GB + 256GB | Rs 32,999 | Rs 34,999 | Rs 36,999 |
This marks the second price revision for the smartphone. When the device launched earlier this year, the 8GB + 128GB model was priced at Rs 29,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version cost Rs 32,999. With the latest increase, both variants are now Rs 4,000 more expensive than their launch prices.
Should you buy the OnePlus Nord CE 6?
Despite the higher pricing, the Nord CE 6 remains a well-rounded option in the premium mid-range segment. It offers a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, a large 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and a 50MP primary camera with OIS. OnePlus has also equipped the phone with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, making it one of the most durable devices in its class.
That said, buyers should factor in the recent price hikes. At nearly Rs 34,000, the base variant now sits closer to alternatives like the Redmi Turbo 5 and POCO X8 Pro, which are known for their performance. However, both come with smaller batteries than the Nord CE 6, so if endurance is your concern, the OnePlus could be the stronger pick. However, do note that the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion boasts of the same processor but comes at a lower price than the Nord CE 6.
For buyers who value battery life, durability and software support, the Nord CE 6 still makes a strong case. However, with prices steadily rising across the industry, it may be worth acting sooner rather than later if this phone is already on your shortlist.
