OPPO A1s and OPPO A1i phones have been launched in China as new A-series offerings. These are new budget offerings from the brand and ship with MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset, an IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 5000mAh battery, and up to 512GB storage option. OPPO A1s and OPPO A1i prices
OPPO A1s is priced at RMB 1,199 (approx Rs 13,800) for the 12GB + 256GB model and RMB 1,399 (around Rs 16,100) for the 12GB + 512GB variant. This handset can be purchased in Dusk Mountain Purple, Night Sea Black and Tianshuibi colours.
The OPPO A1i costs RMB 1,099 (around Rs 12,700) for the 8GB + 256GB model and RMB 1,199 (approx Rs 13,800) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The handset comes in Phantom Purple and Night Black colours.
The handsets will go on sale in China from April 19th.
OPPO A1s specifications
OPPO A1s sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 2400 X 1080 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 680nits peak brightness, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The handset packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 2.2 native storage. In terms of cameras, the OPPO phone packs a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. We get an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. The OPPO A1s measures 165.6mm x 76.0mm x 7.99mm in size and weighs 193g.

OPPO A1i gets a slightly smaller 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 1612×720 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, an 89.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 2.5D curved glass. The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The chipset is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
In terms of cameras, the OPPO A1i phone packs a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture. There is a 5MP shooter for selfies and video chats. The OPPO A1i measures 163.8mm x 75.1mm x 8.12mm in size and weighs 185 grams. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with a standard 10W charging support.
