Update: We now have the OPPO A6s 5G India prices also. The OPPO A6s 5G will start at Rs 18,999 for the 4GB +128GB model. The 6GB + 126GB model would cost Rs 20,999.
OPPO is preparing to bring another mid-range 5G phone to India. As per information given to us by tipster Sanju Choudhary, the OPPO A6s 5G is expected to launch in the country around or before March 20th, expanding OPPO’s A-series lineup in the entry-level 5G segment.
For India, the phone will arrive with a 6.75-inch LCD display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,125 nits peak brightness, a brightness-high refresh rate combination that has become increasingly common among affordable 5G phones. The handset will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which is widely used in entry-level 5G devices and is generally aimed at everyday tasks like social media, video streaming, and casual gaming.
One of the key highlights of the Indian variant will be its 6,500mAh battery paired with 45W fast charging. While slightly smaller than the global model, this is still a large capacity for the segment and could appeal to users who prioritise longer battery life. The phone will also feature a 50MP main camera accompanied by a 2MP secondary sensor on the rear. Colour options for India will include Aurora Gold and Plum Purple.

The OPPO A6s 5G was first introduced globally in January 2026 with somewhat different specifications. The international version features the same 6.75-inch 120Hz LCD panel and the Dimensity 6300 chipset, but it packs a larger 7,000mAh battery with faster 80W wired charging and an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. The Indian variant appears to be a slightly toned-down version of the global device, which is not unusual for the price-sensitive Indian market.
The Indian variant of the OPPO A6s 5G also appears to adopt a noticeably different design compared with the global model. In the Indian version which looks like the OPPO A6x 5G, the phone uses a simpler dual-camera layout with two large circular camera rings placed directly on the back panel, along with a small LED flash beside them. The rear panel has a cleaner, flatter look with minimal camera housing, giving it a more straightforward budget-phone aesthetic. The teaser image also highlights colours with a glossy finish aimed at standing out in the affordable segment.

The global variant, on the other hand, uses a square camera island placed in the top-left corner of the back panel. This module groups the two camera lenses and flash inside a raised rectangular block, which makes the phone look slightly more premium and visually structured. The global model is offered in Cappuccino Brown and Ice White, and the white version includes a subtle patterned texture across the back panel that adds some visual depth.
The A6s 5G will enter one of India’s most crowded segments where Redmi, POCO, Realme, LAVA, Samsung and others already offer several budget 5G phones with high-refresh-rate displays, large batteries, and decent entry-level chipsets. The combination of a large display and a sizeable battery could make the A6s 5G appealing for people who primarily stream content, browse social media, or want a phone that comfortably lasts through a full day of use. At the same time, devices slightly higher in price often bring sharper panels, better cameras, or faster processors. Buyers should look out for the OPPO A6s 5G’s pricing and launch offers before making a decision, as difference of around Rs 1,000 – Rs 2,000 could translate to stronger upgrades.
