The OPPO K14 5G has launched in India at starting at Rs 17,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and up to Rs 21,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It goes on sale March 20, 2026 on the OPPO e-store and Flipkart in Icy Blue, Prism Violet, and Prism White colourways. Select bank cards get you Rs 1,000 off, and you can split the cost over 3 months with no-cost EMI, which helps if you want the higher storage variant without paying all at once. Here’s a quick rundown on what the device offers if you’ve been looking for a mid-range smartphone.
The phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS storage. It should handle everyday tasks like browsing, streaming, and light gaming comfortably. OPPO also built in a vapour chamber cooling system (3900mm²) that pulls heat away from the back panel during gaming, something phones at this price range often skip. On the software side, it runs ColorOS 15 on Android 15, with OPPO’s Trinity Engine managing memory and background apps so the phone stays responsive even after extended use.
The rear camera setup uses a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, with an 8MP front camera for selfies. You get features like Portrait Mode and AI Portrait Retouching, which adjust subject separation and skin detail based on lighting. The AI toolkit covers common fixes like removing unwanted objects, sharpening blurry images, and adjusting composition. We will test the cameras properly in our full review, so stay tuned for that.
The K14 5G has a flat frame with a metallic camera module and carries MIL-STD-810H, SGS 5-star, and IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings. In simple terms, it handles drops, dust, splashes, and even direct high-pressure water jets. The 6.75-inch display runs at 120Hz with up to 1,125 nits of peak brightness for outdoor readability. It also supports Splash Touch and Glove Touch, so the screen responds even with wet fingers or gloves on. There’s no AMOLED display here, which is a bit disappointing.
The highlight feature here is the 7,000mAh battery, one of the largest you will find at this price. OPPO claims 22.5 hours of calls and 18.9 hours of YouTube on a single charge, we’ll test it more thoroughly in our dedicated review. The included 45W SuperVOOC charger claims to top it up in roughly 1.5 hours. The battery is rated to last up to five years and comes with reverse-wired charging, which lets you top up earbuds or a smartwatch when needed.

Compared to the K13 5G (review), the K14 brings a lot of durability upgrades. It comes with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings and MIL-STD-810H certification all of which its predecessors lacked. The vapour chamber cooling is also a new addition. The display grows slightly from 6.67 to 6.75 inches, although there’s no AMOLED panel this time. The trade-offs, however, are pretty hard to miss. The K13 had a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip, an 80W charger, a 16MP front camera, and 8GB RAM as standard. The K14 steps back on all four fronts, despite sharing the same Rs 17,999 starting price.
These cuts likely come down to the global memory shortage, and budget phone makers have been trimming specs to keep prices from rising. The K14’s trade-offs reflect that pressure more than any deliberate downgrade. If battery life and durability are your main priorities, the K14 5G makes a decent case for itself at Rs 17,999. But if you care more about processing power, charging speed, or an AMOLED display, there are better options currently at this price point, like the POCO M8 (review).
Based on a report by mydrivers.com, the OPPO K14 Turbo series is reportedly launching in China in early April. OPPO’s product manager has confirmed the lineup will include a built-in active cooling fan across all models, a step up from traditional vapour chamber setups. That’s in line with expectations since the OPPO K13 Turbo series in India had the same built-in cooling fan.
The series is likely to once again include two models: the K14 Turbo and the K14 Turbo Pro. The Pro is tipped to sport a 6.79-inch OLED display and run on the Dimensity 9500s, while the standard model may get a 6.59-inch OLED and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. The Pro could also pack an 8,000mAh battery and come in up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configurations.
Both models are expected to carry a 50MP main camera. These are still rumours, so take them with a pinch of salt. The K13 Turbo series launched in August 2025 in India, and it is likely the brand will stick to the same timeline for the K14 Turbo series launch. We’ll have more concrete details once we’re closer to the India launch.
