OPPO Reno 11 series launch could take place at the tail end of this month or next month, as per a new report, and we have several new details on the phones like the Reno 11 renders and Reno 11 Pro specs. We are also hearing that the OPPO Pad Air 2 could also launch along with the Reno 11 series.
Although it was earlier expected to launch on November 23rd, now a Gizmochina report citing a tipster claims that the Reno 11 series could come out in December. On the same day, we could witness the OPPO Pad Air 2 launch as well. The reason for the delay is reportedly an issue related to the display.
OPPO Reno 11 series specifications (rumoured)
- Design: After a live image popped up recently, certain leaked renders on Weibo show the OPPO Reno 11 series in different colours and with a unique pattern. The new phones appear to have borrowed the design cues from the Reno 10 series. That includes the stadium-shaped camera island but the sensors are placed slightly differently here.
For instance, there are two camera sensors with F/1.8 aperture plus 26mm lens, and F/2.2 aperture plus 16mm lens respectively in the top ring. We assume the former is the primary camera and the latter is an ultrawide shooter. In the bottom ring, there is an aspherical lens which could be used for zoom.
- Cameras: As per tipster DigitalChatStation, the Reno 11 could come with a LYT600 main camera, an IMX355 ultrawide sensor, and an IMX709 2X telephoto lens. The Pro model, meanwhile could ship with an IMX890 primary camera, an IMX355 ultrawide snapper, and an IMX709 2X telephoto zoom camera.
- Processor: The vanilla Reno could be holding Dimensity 8200 SoC at the helm while the Pro could have Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC at the heart backed by LPDDR5X + UFS 3.1 memory.
- Battery: The Reno 11 could bear a 4,800mAh battery and 67W charging support while the Reno 11 Pro could carry a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging speed.
- Display: The tipster expects the Reno 11 Pro to flaunt a curved OLED screen with a punch hole cutout, 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 2160Hz PWM dimming rate. The regular Reno 11 is also said to bring a single punch-hole curved screen but the rest of the details haven’t been spilled.
- Miscellaneous details: The Reno 11 Pro could also feature an X-axis vibration motor, dual stereo speakers, a plastic middle frame, either 8.19mm or 8.26mm of thickness and 190g of heft. Whereas the Reno 11 could be more compact at 7.59mm or 7.66mm in width and 184g of weight.
