POCO M4 5G has been launched in India as the latest 5G offering and comes after the brand debuted the POCO X4 Pro 5G and POCO M4 Pro (4G and 5G). The handset is said to be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 11E and has the same specifications and an identical design. There is a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual cameras and a unique textured finish on the back panel. POCO M4 price in India is Rs 12,999 for the 4GB+64GB model and Rs 14,999. for the 6GB+128GB version. It comes in Yellow, Black and Blue colour options and will be on sale via Flipkart online. There’s a Rs 2,000 instant discount via SBI credit and EMI transactions. The POCO M4 5G will go on sale in India on Flipkart starting May 5th.

POCO M4 5G sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, up to 600nits brightness, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It packs up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card.

Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C port, and Bluetooth 5.0. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, Hi-Res audio, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone runs on Android 12 based MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box and has an IP52 rating for splash resistance.

Moving to optics, the POCO M4 5G has a dual-camera array on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash and a 2MP portrait lens. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. It measures 163.99×76.09×8.9mm and weighs 200 grams. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
