POCO M6 Pro 5G will launch in India on August 5th at 12 PM IST, the brand confirmed on Twitter. There is a dedicated microsite on Flipkart but the listing doesn’t include any hardware specifications at the moment. There are chances the handset will go on sale on the same date as a part of the Flipkart Big Saving Days sale.

As said, the POCO M6 Pro 5G is expected to be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 12R. This speculation is further backed by a recent Geekbench listing of the POCO M6 Pro 5G, which showed the same Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. We will know for certain whether the POCO M6 Pro is a rebrand or not when it launches later this week. Until then, here’s a quick look at the Redmi Note 12R specifications.
