Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme 12x 5G in India on April 2nd, with the launch event set to kick off at 12 PM. The teaser image released by the company confirmed a fresh Blue colour variant. However, in China, the smartphone is offered in Black Jade and Blue Bird (Green) colours, providing consumers with a range of choices to suit their preferences.

Realme has confirmed that the price of the Realme 12X 5G in India will be below Rs 12,000. However, the company has not yet revealed the exact price. Comparatively, the previous model, the Realme 11X, began at Rs 14,999 for the variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Meanwhile, in China, the Realme 12X is available for CNY 1,399 (approx Rs 16,300) for the 12GB+256GB variant, while the 12GB+512GB model costs CNY 1,599 (approx Rs 18,700).
Expected specifications
The Realme 12X 5G will boast a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 950 nits for smooth visuals and vibrant colours. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G chipset, built on a 6nm process. The phone will operate on the latest Android 14 operating system-based Realme UI 5.
In terms of photography, the Realme 12X 5G will feature a dual rear camera setup, with a 50MP main sensor. The upcoming 12X 5G will house is equipped with a robust 5,000mAh battery, supported by 45W fast charging technology for quick and convenient charging.
Furthermore, the Realme 12X 5G will come with an IP54 rating, protecting against dust and water splashes. Additionally, it features Rainwater smart touch technology and Dual Stereo Speakers.
